New minifigs with musculature will have sculpted abdominal sections. Frankly I don't see what value this adds, but it tested well amongst the WWE and Raw wrestling demographics of boy 7-13. With the success of Ninjago gameplay the next licensed theme will be wrestling. Looking forward to the WWE Diva minifigs.RadStar wrote:ABS?Xandria wrote:That almost made me reconsider the severity of my ABS addiction. The elements in these sets... SWEET! Or it may have something to do with the type of plastic material to create Lego.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean.
Has anyone been more observant than I and found a more accurate release date on these yet? All I kept finding was discussion on the video games. >_<;;
What this town needs is more love bricks.
Re: Pirates of the Caribbean.
POTC are available online at Toysrus.com (USA) and they're even eligible for the BOGO 50% off sale.
Re: Pirates of the Caribbean.
Mm very nice, US dollar, bogo and free shipping!
I would be in for a London Escape (4193) set if anyone wants one too? Spilt the savings?
Cheers!

The PotC sets are listed as available now on the LEGO Shop at Home website, so my guess is that they're officially released...tukac wrote:Has anyone been more observant than I and found a more accurate release date on these yet? All I kept finding was discussion on the video games. >_<;;

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean.
I'm interested in The London Escape (4193) as well. anyone planning to order with a US shipping Address? Looks like the ship is sold out and I'll have to wait till I can buy it and get VIP points

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean.
Ugh just checked canadian prices.. $65 for London escape. In USA it's $50, so with bogo it is $75 for two sets. Sucks I lost my keys, gonna cost me like $150 for replacements.. Dang apartment security.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean.
Is there a TRU in Bellingham? I could of swore there was by Bellisfair Mall but I haven't been into Bellingham for awhile now. Kind of a bummer driving all the way to Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood for TRU. Might as well go all the way to Bellevue then cause there's a TRU near the Lego store.
Re: Pirates of the Caribbean.
TRU Bellingham closed a couple years ago. Bad timing if you ask me, it was just before the CDN$ started rising.
Re: Pirates of the Caribbean.
I'd be willing to get in on that action. XDRadStar wrote:Mm very nice, US dollar, bogo and free shipping!

I swear, I must have missed them on Saturday if they were on there because I really didn't see them. Time for a second job. Anyone looking to hire software developer with an ABS addiction for night shift work?

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean.
I'd say all bricks and plates are ABS plastic. It's the accessories that will be made of different plastics.RadStar wrote:off topic - how does one know which lego pieces are ABS ? all of them?

MB doesn't use ABS, it uses polystyrene, the same plastic used in model airplane kits.
https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... ne_styrene
From that wiki article, anyone want to try this?
ABS is flammable when it is exposed to high temperatures, such as a wood fire. It will melt, boil, then burst spectacularly into intense, hot flames.
Or this...
ABS plastic ground down to an average diameter of less than 1 micrometer is used as the colorant in some tattoo inks. Tattoo inks that use ABS are extremely vivid. This vividness is the most obvious indicator that the ink contains ABS, as tattoo inks rarely list their ingredients.
