ABS?
New minifigs with musculature will have sculpted abdominal sections. Frankly I don't see what value this adds, but it tested well amongst the WWE and Raw wrestling demographics of boy 7-13. With the success of Ninjago gameplay the next licensed theme will be wrestling. Looking forward to the WWE Diva minifigs.

What... is April first over?

Or it may have something to do with the type of plastic material to create Lego.

Has anyone been more observant than I and found a more accurate release date on these yet? All I kept finding was discussion on the video games. >_<;;

POTC are available online at Toysrus.com (USA) and they're even eligible for the BOGO 50% off sale.

The PotC sets are listed as available now on the LEGO Shop at Home website, so my guess is that they're officially released...

Is there a TRU in Bellingham? I could of swore there was by Bellisfair Mall but I haven't been into Bellingham for awhile now. Kind of a bummer driving all the way to Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood for TRU. Might as well go all the way to Bellevue then cause there's a TRU near the Lego store.

TRU Bellingham closed a couple years ago. Bad timing if you ask me, it was just before the CDN$ started rising.

I'd say all bricks and plates are ABS plastic. It's the accessories that will be made of different plastics.

Continuing the Off-topic:

MB doesn't use ABS, it uses polystyrene, the same plastic used in model airplane kits.

https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... ne_styrene

From that wiki article, anyone want to try this?

ABS is flammable when it is exposed to high temperatures, such as a wood fire. It will melt, boil, then burst spectacularly into intense, hot flames.

Or this...

ABS plastic ground down to an average diameter of less than 1 micrometer is used as the colorant in some tattoo inks. Tattoo inks that use ABS are extremely vivid. This vividness is the most obvious indicator that the ink contains ABS, as tattoo inks rarely list their ingredients.

so when Lego brings out set # 7189 with the Lego goats we will need to stage an intervention for Mike's own good. rotflol
