Crane 7905 at Zellers

Post by AC »

The Building Crane 7905 is at the Langley Zellers for $44.99. This did not look to be a sale. It was a regular price tag. Maybe an error. :)

Maybe i'll go down to the Abby Zellers today and see if they have them as well. That's a pretty rare set for up here considering Lego didn't make it available in Canada (that i know of).

At any rate, $44 is a good price for them considering they are like 60-70 on bricklink.

One more for me please! I'll try to get out to a meeting soon... but my newest "MOC" has been quite the handful. :)

Yeah I'm also surprised to see the 7905 Building Crane set north of the border - let alone at that price!

Well i just got back from Zellers Abbotsford (and winners too), and they infact do have the crane, however the price is far from $44.99. It was $94.99. A good crane, but far from a deal.

Winners also didn't have anything good for a draft.

Ouch - original retail price was US$50! Then for the second production run, they raised the price to $60. Thanks for checking anyway, Graham.

I know...ouch is right. I got one of these about 2 years ago in the US at target for $40US on sale. Probably one of the best sets, esp for supports and technic pcs.

No prob.

Shane and I both got the crane for $44. at the Langley location. It may have been an error on the stores part. Sorry guys. :( I like it when Zellers messes up.

That is ridiculous that the US price is 60 and here it's 95. That is even worse than the usual price difference.

Time to go South, soon...

OH yeah baby its back on!,I just picked up 4 cranes at maple ridge Zellers .Now if this Zellers had it for 44.99 then the other Zellers should price match.I'll give a crane to Brian ,Daveed ,and Dave .Sorry graham but I'm sure the other Zellers will honour the price.

They also had knights kingdom 10176-1 on for 60 bucks reg $99 bucks, not bad for parts .Happy hunting everyone!

Thanks Andrew.

I can also confirm the crane for $44.99 at the Oakridge Zellers. They have at least 6-8 so I can grab more if necessary.

The $94 price tag does make sense because LEGO likes to fleece any and all non-US customers, so I have no idea why they're selling this popular 700+ piece set for less than half price!

Hi all ,the lady at Zellers said that the sets on half price were due to being discontinued stock,so I guess they got a rockin deal on some sets that didn't sell as well or just made too many.

Have fun everyone! , Andrew

Just came across this forum, fantastic! The tip on the crane is excellent.

I picked one up at the Brentwood Mall Zellers on Monday. I counted 20 out on the shelf in case anyone is looking to grab more for any reason.
