A post to start all others

Post by jaem »

I'm not really wanting to say anything at the moment - but I got tired of seeing "5882 posts" at the bottom of the screen for the 4th or 5th day in a row, so I had to do something!!

Is everyone busy, or just not talkative? Does everyone suddenly hate everyone else - or just me....

 - probably not! That sounds almost contradictory - "totally worth seeing", if you can "stand [it]"!!

That's great David - Lego at work. Great little Lego sound board. What do your coworkers think of it?

P.S. Does the fact that you do Lego B-Day parties, etc. make it easier for people to accept that you're an AFOL? ("it's my part time job!") haha!

I tell people I'm an AFOL all the time. The parties doesn't really make it any easier to take because most people don't think much of it. Keep in mind that I spend much of my time in theatres around artsi people who likely have their own strange secrets...

My co-worker thought it was pretty great. He said something about Sound guys and lighting guy being at odds in England so I took that picture where he's hitting me with the chair.

I just moved, am working hard on a model, and just started college! I'm at Camosun now, living in Victoria...any of you ever come over this side? :)

Yep I've been signed up for it right from the start! I have a 120x80 model coming this year, which is fairly close to completion. I won't be a judge of how awesome it is...that's up to you!...but I am somewhat pleased that it turned out fairly close to how I imagined it. Let's just say that space better watch out!

Hope to see you there!

Nah, it's not like my pirate model that much, aside from the fact it involves similar ocean bits. Personally I think it's a much better overall model, with a lot more interest.

Can't wait to see your model - I'm sure it'll be awesome!
