June 2012 VLC Meeting - Friday June 22nd

The next VLC meeting will be on Friday, June 22nd at the Surrey Museum in Cloverdale. For new members who are interested in coming out to meet us, please do let us know in advance to expect you. This is after hours and someone will let you in. Please call Pierre at XXX-XXX-XXXX if you're having trouble accessing the building.

We're aiming to have a 6pm start. We'll be in the middle of an active build so be prepared to lend a hand where necessary. We'll probably go out for a social bite afterwards.

Lobster is the usual thing most first timers bring as a snack item.

Other that that, a cheery disposition and very much so a willingness to lend a hand. Although very late in the game, there may still be some opportunities to help out in landscaping or if you've dug your bricks out to do a last minute build of something that we're missing.

I've never been to a meeting before and am interested in coming. I have no way of getting out to Cloverdale though. Anyone with a seat belt to offer? I can chip in for gas.

Just wanted to chime in and thank all the VLC members for a very warm welcome last night. I really enjoyed myself and didn't feel too out of place with everyone else. Hopefully next time I can contribute more than just counting out the bulk order . By the way chump, thanks again for the invite.

Sorry you message got lost in the fray. Our meetings rotate between the Vancouver, Burnaby/New West and Surrey. So you'll definitely have something closer to you the next time and given enough time, there's probably someone who can offer a ride.
