Wanted: Vancouver Grand Opening Help

Hello Vancouver AFOLs. I just moved to Victoria from Toronto. I had to give up TWO Lego stores, but I`m so glad to at least have one across the water from me.

I plan to go to the Grand Opening, but can only attend Saturday and Sunday, which pains me.

Would anyone be able and willing to help me procure the Friday giveaway (likely the t-shirt)?

If you're going to be there on the Friday, and either the Saturday or the Sunday, I could pick it up from you at the store.

Welcome to the Forum, and to BC! I'm sure you do fine with one LEGO store since the weather here is so much better than Toronto that you likely won't need as much LEGO to pass the cold winter and muggy summer!

I don't think I will be able to make it friday, but perhaps Saturday. Look forward to meeting you somewhere in the LEGO world.

You really want that t-shirt, huh? Unfortunately, most of us are a little bit Lego nutty and would really want to keep the t-shirt, if we get one. It never hurts to ask though! You never know who might bite. Sadly, I don't think I'll make it to the store before they run out.

Yes, I do really want that t-shirt. I feel a certain empathy with my fellow AFOL's; I understand that anything Lego related is hard to part with. Which is why it kills me that I can't be there Friday.

At past openings, I would go through the line more than once to get a few of the items, so that I could send them to my friends who lived too far away, and maybe have a spare for myself.

I emailed shortly after Allan posted the address and I have not heard back. I did get a broadcast email to "all volunteers" saying that anyone who was not confirmed for a specific shift(s) should email in again for confirmation, so I emailed again. I just got a response confirming me for Sunday at 3pm, so I will be there then. I guess they are just behind in replies.

the grand opening of the Vancouver store makes me panic and research on the internet to find help and I end up to here . Anyone is willing to trade the MiniLego store with the Sunday exclusive 3 minifigure with Vancouver,BC at their back and limited 500 number mark in the card?
Or I can offer for 40 dollars for now for the minilego store ?
I do wish to do a chinese review for the exclusive mimilego set. Thanks for your kindly looking.
