Gosh didnt these lego guys learn anything from watching Lord Of the Rings! If they mine to deep they might awaken something nasty.. like the Balrog lol.

These new hats do look pretty awesome on these guys.. and so do their vechicles. I wonder if any of these sets will inspire some of us here to build under our layouts to make a little mine!

They already did that with the recently discontinued Power Miners set and the rock monsters.

Oh yeah.. I thought there was a set that was mining themed from before. I wonder with the city forest theme if they will do loggers next with a sasquatch lol.

Ahh maybe one day these would be useful if the Britannia Mine Museum calls us up for something. Maybe they were inspired by the Chilean Miners?

So now that the subject line has changed do we now have to start another thread if we want to talk about one of the other sets in this line.

Is this a new theme? Or just a one off from City?

I think it is a one off from the City series. I went back and looked at some of the videos of the Toyfair reveals, and the labels are marked.. Lego City .. ( In the Bold larger letters ) and then it said Lego City Mining underneath in small letters.

This Line is growing more and more on me.. I am already trying to figure out a way to add in a mine into my planned city.. I think it would make for a fun scene to build under my layout!
