Feeling Pleased With Myself

Post by Arct3ryx »

Picked up the large King's Castle at the Target in Bellis Fair for... $80! I think I see it up here for $130 normally. Still shaking my head at the US/CA price differential...

Daughter and I are trying to stay focused on the City sets... she has some of the Kingdom pieces (outpost, ect), but man... at $80, I couldn't walk away. So it came back with us. I had really wanted to grab the Creator houses but didn't find any of those... castle was a great consolation prize :)

Stay focused. Yeah.... Like that'll happen. That's what I said many years ago.

Even if you don't buy another kingdoms set, you gotta admit that
that joust set though would look really nice alongside that castle.

And I have to encourage you to buy it as Radstar took this vow not to buy anymore Lego till 2012. I so want to write "challenge accepted. I will make you buy Lego before 2012.". But can't seem to get my inner Barney Stinson to work. Notice however that the Joust set doesn't come out till Jan 2012, the crafty guy......

If the after Christmas sales go up online like last year, he might not be able to keep his word. Getting 50% off is hard to resist.

I'm noticing some online sale prices that are the same for CAN /US dollars more often. I think it's a good sign.

Who would ever get LEGO @ regular prices south of the border? TRU USA flyers continually post BOGO50's... seems kind of like the norm... or it feels that way. Maybe it's extra accentuated by the time of year...

I'll keep my eyes out for the joust set.

I am extra stoked by the Dino sets :) :) :)
