Hey I'm looking for individual bricks, some 1x8, 1x9, 2x8, 2x9 type bricks. Is there anyplace in vancouver I would be able to buy these individually, or is there someplace with a wide selection of kits with these parts in them?
Thanks

Re: Where to get individual lego parts?
Hello and welcome to the lego club forum, I will answer and I am sure you will get some other options from others soon enough, if you are looking to acquire specific pieces, you should try www.bricklink.com this is an online reseller of lego pieces you can search for some local stores as well. If you are looking to buy a set to get specific pieces, you can try www.peeron.com, and look at the breakdown of what each set contains. They both take a small amount of research but you will end up with what you are searching for. I hope my response helps and good luck with your search.

Although you won't find any 2x9 Lego bricks on www.BrickLink.com, people hoard those

Welcome to the forums, projectlegos. Any particular reason that you need a 1x9 or 2x9? Will a 1x3 and 1x6 work? or a 1x8 and a 1x1?

Thanks for the quick replies. And yes a combination of bricks would work, it's to house LED's and the dimensions of a 8x1 or 8x2 would be perfect. I was just looking for a local store or dollar store type place that would sell lego, thanks!
