Yea I only have the green grocer at this point... I can't afford to get the whole series at once. Though I do need to get the grand emporium before it goes out of production.

I missed the cafe corner and now that is just stupid to try and buy.

Haha I was thinking the same thing. I enjoy hearing about sets JUST before they're released - that way I don't have to wait as long. Doesn't help with budgeting though...

Judging by other sets in this series, with roughly the same piece count, it'll be US$150 and CDN$200...

I have been a big fan of the modular buildings from the get go, but I find this set a little disappointing. Maybe it's the flowers on the window sills I don't know. Just not doing it for me. In time I am sure it will grow on me.

But I do agree with you, this set does not have the "WOW" factor that grand emporium, or cafe corner have. And even a modular building set, I will just buy for parts if its not WOW enough to build.

ETA: Of course, If I ever get one of these sets , I will end up switching things to make it a MOC, not a set.

As long as you make up your mind before it becomes discontinued. Then you may look like this

yeah I too am already making alterations. The nice thing is that you get 2 seperate buildings so you can leave one alone and overhaul the other. I like the pet store module and will likely keep it intact with the exception of subbing the sand blue with another color.
I am not crazy about the townhouse.
