Until I see some actual Gameplay footage I'm not going to hold my breath . Its real easy to make a wicked Full motion video , But its the game play thats matters . I wonder if they are taking way to long with making it thats the whole MMORPG fade will be winding down by then

I've been playing a bit in the beta. I can't talk about specifics.

As an MMO I'm pretty underwhelmed so far. But it is very LEGO-y so that brings is back up to the plus side.

Like most LEGO games it seem to be falling down on the cross marketing. The designs and art are great but not tied specifically to any of the current themes. I can understand the Game Designers not wanting to date their game. But LEGO really should be geared up to make LEGO Universe tie in sets to exploit the up coming popularity of the game. Maybe they have the sets ready and they are just waiting for a firm launch date. Knowing how far in advance they work, and remembering the lack of ties ins with RockBand and Batman, I think LEGO will miss the boat again when Universe launches.

Many features don;t seem to be availble yet , But when you compare the size of the worlds to say somtehing like WoW , they need some more content , areas and maybe some sort of leveling or whatever to keep people interested
