SOS-on Santa list but can't find!!!!

My son is asking for only ONE thing and I CAN'T find it, despite hours!!!of internet and phone calls.
It is:
Star Wars 7676/Republic Attack Gunship
I have contacted many small toy stores in the lower mainland and on the island and also websites to no avail.
Does anyone have any stores they might recommend or have this product they are willing to sell.....I'm now in panic mode.\

Have you called the Lego Store in the Bellvue Square Mall. You will need a passport, but they may have it.

I see an ad on Craigslist for $150 which is more or less retail price (139.99 from Lego.com).

I have a new republic gunship but thats the only one i have at the moment. I also saw the ad for the gunship on craigslist too. Not to best deal but you save $6.8. ($140 + tax = $156..

LegoShop last time had free shipping along with a $10 off thing and tax on there was only 5% GST instead of a total of 12%.

I went to that lego store few months ago and it was small..but thats probably your last resort to get it a bit cheaper cause it retails at $119.99 US and currency is almost equal at the moment.

I called the Lego store in Bellevue and they do NOT have 7676. Also the only one on Craiglist that I have found in Vancouver is not 7676 but an older model still in the box, he wants $285 firm!! As for lego.com it was too late to order that at the time when my son decided that's what he wanted.
So, no luck and not looking like I'll be able to get him this from Santa.
Any other ideas?

Where you find that listing? Its from a guy in North Vancouver for a new 7676 republic attack gunship and there also a picture for that set.

oh my gosh....I just reread my son's letter to santa he has written something different than he had told me. He actually wants Republic dropship (way more money). I have spent so much time on this hunting for the other 7676 set. OMG is all I have to say. Can't see any on craigslist. Yikes......

ok, all is well...talked to my son this morning and apparently he meant to ask Santa in the letter for the Republic Attack Gunship...so....I am breathing again. thanks for everything, everyone is so helpful on this forum, greatly appreciated.

Republic dropship is really expensive and is not a good value in terms of minifigures, pieces and price you pay compared to getting the republic attack gunship & at te.

The latest info.....

The craigslist listing in N.Vancouver is the right set, 7676, but it has been opened, not optimum for a Santa gift.
I thought I would try Toys R Us one more time and the Coq. store told me that they had 37!! The clerk said she would put on at the counter for me. I arrived 30 min. later only to find out the computer was wrong, BUT, a woman did find one behind other boxes and bought it.

It looks as though this set will just NOT make it under the tree from Santa this year.

Their is a toystore in newport village port moody,and a jungle toy store in coquitlam center.they might have what your looking for.

I think I've tried every toy store in the lower mainland, even small toy stores in Langley, Abbotsford, Tsawwassen, West Van, North Van. I have tried Newport Village toy store and all the Jungle Toy stores, thanks. No luck anywhere!

My only regret is....that I should have actually gone to some of the stores instead of phoning (ie Toys R Us) because I feel that not everyone checks thoroughly, don't have the time and some just don't care.
