Once again I am thinking of selling, it's a daunting task!

Post by dberladyn »

Hi,

I've been off work for the last month, it was kind of by choice kind of not. Anyways I've had time to relax, get some projects done and underway and also time to play. By play I mean buy more toys, I've been spending lots of money on RC products, helicopters, planes and even tanks!

Anyways I have overspent (as usual) and I am looking at selling off things that I don't use. The only thing that really stops with selling LEGO (besides the emotional attachment) is the daunting task of doing such a thing. Some of you probably have bigger collections than mine but my collection is fairly extensive.

It's mostly Technic, Mindstorms, 4.5/12v trains and then Town from when I was young. Oh I have most of the Dacta Technic sets as well. If I could just list the whole thing and get a price based on what the sets are worth parted out it would be gone.

I don't know why I am posting again, I guess I am just looking for someone to take the burden ($) off me. :)

I don't even know if I will ever play with it, I just know that when I am working too much and too tired for anything else buying it seems to fill a void in me.

I guess I should write that I am not too interested in just selling off bits and pieces. It would have to be large sums.

Thanks,
Dan

Well I think the first to go will be the 12v train items. I don't know if any of you will be interested but I'll add my ebay auctions here as I list them. So far my auctions are starting out at $0.01 with no reserve.

You don't have an Ebay account? I'd much rather sell them through the auction that way I am not over charging you or giving you too good of a deal. Just register an account and you can pay me cash, no shipping fees. That gives you an edge.

I'm tempted to give VLC members some kind of discount but I don't know... that could bite me in the rear if something sells too cheap.

LEGO Train Passenger Car

LEGO Train Books

Now I think this is it for the Train related stuff. Something might be hiding somewhere but I think this is the last of it. LEGO Town items from the 1980's will be next.

See I knew there would be parts hiding somewhere... now if I could just find that bag of minifigs..

If any of you want a Technic set I have just about every single one prior to 1999. The same goes for Dacta Technic. PM me an offer for the set you want.

$2000 and I haven't even touched this LEGO yet...

Image

I think rather than selling it set by set I'm just going to sell it by container. I really don't know if there will be that much of a dollar difference by the time it's all done.
