Kingdoms 2011 - Feel the animal love

Post by chump »

Okay... so that came out wrong.

Spotted pig, chickens, goats spotted grey horse? a one piece axe (need to deal with the huge surge in Lego chickens), horses with bridles,

I like how most of them come in the same set. Seems like a nice follow up to the medieval market. I like how they use the same pattern for the chicken weather vane on top of the barn as they used for the chickens in the medieval market. kinda cheeky.

#7188 and #7189 would both go very nicely with the Medieval Market Village. I might just have to go and buy another one next time I'm in Bellevue. I can see a clash with the chicken figures. Love the spotted horse. Black, brown, and white were getting boring.

Wow, those sets all rock! And I love how the theme is more village and civilian than military, which all the past castle themes have been.

The Blacksmith seems to have 3 or 4 new weapon molds including a short short, battle axe, what might be a morning star, and something that you can't really make out. Cool! It's nice to sea the one-piece axe (halberd) back in production too.

That big set with the goats and chickens (and pitchforks!) makes me giddy! I need at least 2 of those. What the heck, I'll get 3.

Yea, the Mill Village and Blacksmith are definite must haves for me. Gotta love kingdoms.

Although, the chickens don't really do it for me. I kind liked the Medieval Market Village style chickens... but I guess its time they made a molded chicken, since they have one for almost every other animal now (even roast chicken!)

I also love how everything in kingdoms seems to get attacked and pillaged. It can't just be a Mill Village and a blacksmith, it has to be a Mill Village RAID, and a Blacksmith ATTACK. The poor people of the kingdom...
