So,

All day today my 3 year-old has been obsessing about LEGO. Building, tearing down and rebuilding all kinds of things. All day. Right through naptime and everything.

After dinner I leave him with a sitter to go catch a movie with the wife.

When I come I find that he's zonked out in bed, fast asleep, with a half-dozen pieces of LEGO clutched in one hand*.

Ha-ha!

How does everybody else's spawn handle their LEGO-building hobby?

Cheers,
Adrian

I have to keep a lock on my lego room. when I dare leave it out I usually regret it. I have invested much in lots of Duplo so they can have their own stash. My 3 year old enjoys the thomas and Bob the builder peices and my 20 month old son enjoys taking apart what he builds. It is kind of Poetic justice as now my 3rd year old knows what it feels like to have someone destroy his work. and yet that doesnt stop him from destroying mine. I cant wait until they are old enough to sort for me. :)
