Lego is back at WalMart (Lougheed Mall) and they have some items for a few $ less than the LEGO S@H Canada web price.

Agents Speed Boat rescue $45
City Coast Guard Chopper $45
Bionicle Rockoh T3 $45

Mars ETX Infiltrator $35 (had to haggle - it scanned at $40)

Meanwhile at TRU....
Most/All Clone Wars sets have been spotted along with Hoth base but no $ deals. In fact Hoth base is $10 MORE that the Can. S@H and $30 MORE than US S@H - a 60% mark up ove the US price.

Are there any clone/droid packs? those were awesome deals. Also, i notice that their discount for star wars toys are not that much than as to other lego toys.
Magna guard $54.99 discount to $51
Where as agents sets are like $27 discount to $22

The hoth rebel base is a rip off at Toysrus . I really hate TRU now, their prices are increasing a lot even in canada. I hate them !!!!

oh. By the way, I just calcultated with the hoth base. For $80 + 12% tax. Thats equal to $90 CAD for hoth base

And if you purchase from s@h its only a total of $83.50 CAD(including shipping). Although you have to pay $10 bucks shipping, you only have to pay 1 tax. 5% GST. Toysrus charges 2 tax.

Great rip off. All their limited edition sets are ALWAYS raised up by a bit. Some other sets are raised too. Now even with their $5 coupon off $25 its still not taht great of a deal anymore.

I prefer superstore(metrotown), they have some selected 26.99 sets that are regular price of $24.98. (i saw anakin jedi starfighter, hailfire droid and spider droid) so if your in a hurry to purchase lego sets, go there.

I wish I can price match with toysrus. I tried and they said. "sorry we can only pricematch with flyer pricing, clearance, blowout all don't count" So this means its only regular sales. which really sucks.

If you see the Spider Droid for under $30 buy it because it's CAD price is $39.99 even though it's the $25 sized box (like the Hailfire).

I hate these limited edtion sets. They raise their value and they cost more. like the hoth base !! Esepcially when its availble at one store its even more demanding.

I agree that the spider droid is wayyyyyyy over priced. If you go to the states, you can get 2 spider and hailfire droid for $19.99 each !
