I just saw this on Craigslist. I guess someone is reselling some walmart sets:

hmmmmmmmm $8.50 is a reasonable price. Is it safe to purchase from there though? I wonder when zellers is having a BOGO on lego. They haven't had one for quite a while already.

Who knows. When walmart had them they were running for $4.96, so even a $12.99 BOGO 1/2 is probably not that ready of a deal. That'd be like $19.50ish for zellers for 2, whereas this guy was selling them for $17.

I personally think Walmart should bring in more loss leaders of Lego.

I think its kind of sad

how the prices are here in canada. When we get sales in canada (20-30% off), its like the regular price in USA. Can't make much of a business in canada by selling lego. Unless you can hunt those rare and blowout deals like wal-mart. That was really sweeeeeeeeet

I picked up the last 2 droid battle packs at lougheed. hehe

Ahh toy maniac you probably don't remember but like 5 years ago Toy R us had a legendary sale where they had to clear room for the episode 2 lego so they blew out the starwars lego . 75% off epsiode 1 and orignal saga lego . . THat meant Ewok attacks for 3.99 . cloud cars for 2.50 . Rebel blockade runners for like 90.00

. yodas for like 50 or 60 bucks too . it was looney toons ! I miss those days ...

well i also remeber in january 2006 that zellers had a blowout deal as well. They had final duel I, II, tusken raider encounter, jabba's message, jabba's prize for only $2.97 !!!!!!!

I saw it on a flyer and it starts on saturday. I went there on sunday morning at brentwood and can't belive it was ALL SOLD OUT !!!!!! Only thing i spotted that time were some mini star wars sets which i purchase. I always missed these blowout deals.
