On Monday, August 6th, starting at 2:00 pm Splash Toy Shop's Dunbar Location will be hosting an afternoon Lego demonstration for free!! Kids and Adults alike are invited to spend a couple hours learning how to take their Lego sets to the next level using robotics, or just plain innovation and creativity!

The fine folks from Gateways Learning will be starting us off at 2:00 pm with a demonstration of Lego using the Mindstorm Robotics sets. They are known for offering a variety of Lego and Robotics classes for kids, and sessions for large groups tailored for birthdays or other gatherings
. This session will last approximately one hour.

At 3:00 pm, there will be a presentation featuring Johnson Wong (a local Dunbar Lego enthusiast) and 15 year-old Cole Fox who is visiting from Ontario. They have taken some Lego castle sets plus spare parts from their own collections and revamped them to create some brand new original designs!!

Kids get to witness what Lego is capable of beyond what comes in your average box with instructions. And we hope that they leave inspired to take out those old sets they have built before and add their own style and desires to them for endless hours of fun!!
