New Water Technique

Post by chump »

I saw this on Eurobricks and thought it to be simple and quite effective. I hope you guys don't mind me reposting stuff from other sites that have potential to be missed.

As I am lazier than the average bear, I don't look at other sites at all. XD That is a really cool effect though.
What this town needs is more love bricks.

And I don't know if this can be called a water technique, since it just seems to be strategically throwing 1x1 round plates across the board, but it certainly is interesting.

That method looks more like it'd be used for turbulent water as opposed to the serene look of the layered plates. The water effect in the Brickcon image gives a sense of chaos to the MOC which is perfect for that battle scene. Both are very good techniques.

If it were just 1x1 round plate dumped everywhere I would have a hard time calling it a technique but this was well thought out with the clear ones placed at the highest points. It gave it a nice texture to add to the contrast of the trans blue and clear on the earthy tones.
