The piece under the butt, that's the piece that I thought was odd. Perhaps it's the asymmetry of the ends of the piece or that you had used the piece already on top. But that's just my two cents.

Other than that a fabulous MOC. It's got a chunky look that looks all sort of haphazard but really comes together to take shape. Well done.
