There is, but it's one of those messages that doesn't get read and people just press accept. I haven't made any changes yet, but I will see what our options are in this regard.chump wrote:Is there an auto welcome post that can be sent upon registration as to what is frowned upon?

Still in testing, and visible to ANY registered user, not just members, so use it wisely or we shall have to remove it.

Re: FORUMS UPGRADES
Last night I upgraded the forums to the latest version in this version branch. 3.1.10. As I completed the upgrade I noticed that there is now version 3.2. In the terms of the system we use, it's more of a major upgrade and we could see things break such as our special extensions that give us the versatility we have to do what we do here as well as our theme may break.
My goal is to get us to that newest version as my final act as Technology Director. Let's hope I don't screw it up.

I think it's obvious. Lots and lots of Lego. And suntan lotion, it gets expensive using it all year round.

Re: FORUMS UPGRADES
We'd previously discussed being careful to make sure what appears as the title for calendar events (in the calendar header banner right below the VLC image) so as not to give anything away to non-members, but after reading John's comment I just gave it a test (logging out) and discovered that the calendar header banner doesn't show up at all. What shows up for someone with a basic forums account (who doesn't have members area access)?

It would be nice to see more than just the basic information as I am having a hard time learning about what is going on without directly PM people.
