Lego S@H Catalog Codes
Good to meet you guys last night.
I wasn't sure if you guys were familiar with the S@H Catalog codes. I've seen gumby on FBTB but I figured I may as well post it here as well.
The big one for you train guys would be SPC75E, that has your beloved straight track at $13 for eight pieces. I don't know what you guys are paying for it, but at least this ain't retail!
Amongst the other ones are J5CE1, SPC55E, SPC55F, SPC75F. As you flip between them you'll find blue baseplates for $5, the Century Skyway, Maersk Sealand Ship, the entire Dino Attack line, the XXL Mobile Crane, the Technic Mobile Crane and Motorbike, most of the 2005 Designer line and much, much more.
I'm interested in putting an order under J5CE1, to get the 2005 City Advent Calendar with the 9 minifigs in it. Check Bricklink for the inventory. If anyone wants one or anything under the J5CE1 code, please do let me know and we can arrange something.

click "Sales & Deals" near the bottom left.
Hey chump, looks like your Advent Calendar is also included
under this code. Have you ordered yet?

After looking at the inventory of the City Advent Calendar, I think I'm going to take a pass. However, if anyone is buying multiples of the set and would like to sell me one of those chefs, I'd be most appreciative.
Still debating the Harry Potter sets. Some cool pieces in the Merpeople set (shark head, various marinelife, long red hair) and the Graveyard Duel set (black wings, black skeleton, black Norberts) but I just can't deal with all the new brown and greys in this set. It's an excellent price per piece set though.

ok, let's do it
I'm ready to place this order any time.
Want to send me your list Gumby?
Or maybe I should send you mine because when I put in
my order it shows shipping prices according to the usual
schedule.
My total is about $70 so together the shipping would be $13.95.

Shipping is free right now for orders over $99. I just checked this morning, as it wasn't like this last year. Still debating what to order.
ETA: Remind me again are we ordering under the SPC75E code? There are some great small stuff like the Police Car (makes an awesome regular car with the lights and stickers) and Police Motorcycle that I picked up last time at regular price.

There's a few small things, I think I will allow myself to purchase. My eyes are a bit bigger than my wallet right now. I won't be attending the next meeting in Langley, but I'll probably be seeing Tim next week (that's certainly news to him) and I can give the money to him for my portion of the order and have you hold it for me. If that works for both the orderer and Tim.
I suggest we/you pick a cutoff date for order, say Saturday night 8pm?
ETA: Of course, now that I've put that out there, the catalog codes will probably all come crashing down on Friday night!

Ok, I can place the order Sunday when I get a minute.
Probably won't have a chance Saturday night.
Cross your fingers that the code lasts!
I'll check back here before placing the order so post
your list or email it to me.
(You can get my email address by logging in to the club web site.)
Just pay me when I give you your stuff.

Hey Frank, I'm cool with that, and thanks for letting me have the chef first. If I can't attend when you do the draft, I'll give my rank order to you, so that you can proceed.
Anyways, here then is my revised order without the Advent Calendar.
1 x 3738 Large Spruce Trees (10) $7 (if any one wants to split half or can supply them to me for cheaper, let me know)
2 x 7235 Police Motorcycle $3
2 x 7236 Police Car $5
1 x 7473 Street Sprinter vs Mutant Lizard $4
I might be interested in getting another Building Bonanza under another catalog code which I can't remember off hand.
I only paid GST last time and I can't imagine it would be different this time.

7245 $14.99 CDN

7242 $ 6.99 CDN X 2
3448 $11.99 CDN x 2
3734 $ 8.49 CDN
10053 $8.49 CDN
10160 $8.49 CDN X2
I'm also interested in a 4886 (Building Bonanza chump if the code is still applicable. Maybe we could just go together on those on a separate order?
I realize some of the items might be back ordered but that's fine with me, I don't have enough for the free shipping and I'm sure they honor the shipping waiver if they're in different parcels.

Based on what you want in the above order and including two Building Bonanza, you might be better off putting your whole order under catalog code SPC55F. The City stuff is still on discount under this code. However, I just checked and this code gives $5.95 fixed shipping.
However, I can't commit to the second Building Bonanza right now.

Well, this is getting complicated. Par for the course I guess.
1) Tim and Marc: you quoted regular prices, but I assume you're
aware everything you want is discounted.
2) For those who want a 4886 Building Bonanza we can also
place an order under a different code. They will be $39.99
each plus GST. Shipping will be $5.95 divided by the number
of people in the order.
3) Everything requested so far is "available now" according to
the web site, except 7245 Prisoner Transport which Tim wanted.
It says "ship by Nov. 22." I wouldn't think this will delay the
entire order, but I don't know. Anyone know for sure?
Anyone care?
4) You can check the following summary, to see if I've got your
order right:
http://www3.telus.net/fjh/lsah.html
I'll place first order tomorrow and order the Building Bonanzas
as soon as Tim and chump confirm.
Cheers. Frank.

I've placed the first order. There was an unpleasant surprise
however... I would swear on a stack of MISB Lego sets that
yesterday when I filled a shopping cart and went to the checkout
(without confirming the order) it said shipping was $0. Today it
said $5.95. I didn't think this would be a deal breaker for anyone
so I went ahead and placed the order. If you look at the free
shipping fine print it says "cannot be combined with other offers"
so I don't think we can argue this. In fact yesterday the free
shipping showed up with one catalog code but not the other, so
at least today it's consistent.
I propose we divvy up the shipping cost in proportion to the
amount we each ordered. Under this proposal you can see what
you would owe here:
http://www3.telus.net/fjh/lsah.html
If anyone is unhappy about this talk to me and we'll work
something out.
Tim: I haven't ordered Building Bonanzas or K7214 yet. If you
want to proceed with the second order as shown on the web
page let me know. I'll split shipping down the middle with you
if you like. Did you check all codes for a discount on K7214?
