Road Base Plates #7280 and #7281

Post by beethead »

Is there anywhere to get road base plates like these for less than Lego.com's $19.99+tax? I can get them for less than $15 but have to meet a minimum quantity of 24 sets. I just want a few straights, an intersection or two and corners.

Other than that.. Bellevue? You're right though that at $7.50 per plate US it's still a rip off. At least you get VIP points.

To add to Allan's post, if you were to order these through the VLC group buying, the minimum order amount will be higher than 24... probably 50. Of course, you could split it with others if possible.

Edit: Ok looks like I was wrong!

That minimum does not apply to base plates such as these.

plus we should be able to order by the plate and not have to have equal number of corners to T's

I will be designating some of my allotment for road plated on the next order
