Looking for bricks

Post by beethead »

I'm looking for 1x and 2x bricks in assorted colours in bulk. As well as other various building type parts (doors, windows and slopes). Doesn't need to be new just as long as they're not cracked and yellowy. They're for me and the kids to just build random things. Preferably from smoke and pet-free environments in the Metro Vancouver area.

I've browsed BrickLink but paying for shipping is somewhat disappointing and the majority of sources are from the US.

How soon do you need them? S@H seems to be always backordered of out the brick tubs but they're definatley worth ordering if you're just looking for bulk http://shop.lego.com/ByCategory/Product ... =227&d=304

For the most part the club members have a hard time parting with their Lego. There are some local sellers on BrickLink. You may find the odd lot if keep your eyes on craigslist. Clean any used Lego you get, I once found rat droppings in a rubber made container full of Lego I bought. Value Village will sometimes have overpriced bags of Lego once and a while. Happy hunting. :D

By the time I respond to an ad on craigslist 9 times out of 10 the stuff has already been sold. :(
I'll keep looking.

Toy Trades had several bags of used Lego last time I went in there. I think they were $39.00 each for a good sized bag. A little more than I would spend on a bag of basic stuff but for anyone with a smaller collection it is a good price per piece. :D
