London Drugs

Post by Graham »

London drugs has a 20% off sale right now. Granted their selection is about as bad as it gets, however they did have the Troll Battle Wagon? for $26.99 less 20%.

Walmart had this set reduced to $10 a few days ago, but i didn't see many left. The one in abby had none left once i went through :)

True. London Drugs has no selection at all. I saw like 2 batman robin and scuba jet at Brentwood Mall but thats pretty much it except some tiny turbo racers.

Any deals on Star Wars or indiana jones Lego Graham?

I just really don't like it when they don't put it on the flier. Wal-mart has sales often but not on fliers. Toysrus never have sales unless they are on fliers.

Cause if wal-mart has it on a flier, I can at least bring it to Toysrus for an additional 10% off for their "low price guarantee"

O well.. Thanks anywayz

London Drugs can't be worse than the selection at superstore the other day, they had the big coast guard truck and literally that was it.

Superstore has sucked for a while now. Gone are the days of them overstocking the shelves and putting the Lego on clearance in the spring.

Last year Christmas superstore was pretty good, but i would agree this year was a non-event there. All Abby superstore had was some duplo. Maybe i'll swing by the mission one tomorrow to see if they are as dire in inventory.

I must admit, i am in the mood for some deals. :)

True Superstore has no lego at all. I was at the metrotown Burnaby Superstore and all they had was this coast guard truck.

Superstore in Rupert Vancouver (rupert sky train station) had like a couple bionicle and tiny turbos. it really suck cause thers no deals or anything.

Ah ... that's why I couldn't find any! 8)

Keep in mind that Superstore would probably have more Lego if they could get it - but TLG simply can't make enough product to fulfill all the demand (for various reasons), and TRU gets first dibs in Canada. Walmart and Zellers take most of the rest, and Superstore, London Drugs, and the independents (like Toy Traders) take the leavings.

I don't get what you mean by TLG what is TLG?

And yes I have noticed that Toysrus gets all of it first. Then Zellers, wal-mart, the Bay. 3rd is Sears, Winners and then finally Superstore, london drugs.

I just can't belive why Toysrus is so rip-off. They order the most products so it means they should get it the cheapest. Look at the new 2009 products, you can only find them at TRU. Typically the "better ones"

Zellers or wal-mart? Well i guess you better wait till late spring to get them..

Ex is the republic attack gunship and AT-TE. TRU had it for 3 months before Zellers got it. Zellers only got the V19 and magna guard at the begining.

The London Drugs in Langley had an Agents: Mission 2 for 20% off . I bought the only one they had however maybe others have more selection.

Also walmart in langley had IJ: Jungle cutter for $49 and IJ:Lost tomb for $23. I bought one of each of those (their remaining).

Toysrus had the 2009 sets like construction crane/bulldozer, the pirate stuff, but of course all of it was quite expensive. They had buy one, get one half on bionicle.
