Can anyone confirm that this will be the exclusive this year at comic con?
I haven't found anything else online except for the link above.

Cheers!

Shazam minifig was given out tonight. They supposedly have a bizarro and a couple others although I didn't see them. There's an exclusive 80 piece Darth Maul speeder set for $40. The darth maul minifig is suppose to be exclusive. It comes in a tin can instead of a box.

There are a few new Star Wars sets including series 2 planet sets.

Thanks for the info. I was surprised to see not 1 superhero minifig give away, but four!

Yeah, the Lego booth at SDCC was absolutely bug nuts!
It was very apparent that The Lego Group staff did not expect over 4,000 people to mob their booth. They were completely stressed out! Trying to get the crowd to come back and disperse was not going to happen. The mob wanted their minifigs.

The only had one small area in which to check your name to see what minifig you got. After that mob, you then rush to the stage and line up at the appropriate sign to pick up either your Jean Grey, Venom, Shazam or Bizarro.

I "won" Venom and my buddies got a Jean Grey and Shazam. My buddy who got Shazam ended up giving me his minifig (it was the one I really wanted).

I had a few people offer me $50 to $100 bucks for Venom. Rumor during the line up was that a Venom minifig was bought for $300!

Insane!

The Lego booth was pretty crazy each day, but sooo worth it.

I got my Darth Maul tin on preview night, Bilbo Baggins on Thursday, all 4 Super Heroes on Friday and the Batman signed print as well as some of the Star Wars summer sets from the store.

Congrats on your haul. My hats off to you. That's quite a commitment to amass that Lego booty.
I was not prepared for my first Comic Con and was absolutely bug-eyed and shell shocked when I touched down on ground zero on Thursday.

Cheers!

Great score. Did you see Gene Simmons at the booth when they were giving out the minifigs?
