Interesting Star Wars Lego find perhaps?

Hey guys!

So I am busy getting all ready to start to build my first ever lego city! I have been buying some building plans and lego people to get me started.

Some of you may boo me.. but Star Wars lego years back drew me like a moth to return to lego collecting.. and just the other day I unpacked my lego's which happen to be a bunch of lego star wars sets... some still in the box sealed if you can believe that. Having a love for Star Wars, and Lego I have decided that in addition to my City I want to do a Star Wars lego scene.. so I have been searching for some sets.. going with either a Hoth scene or Endor.

Anyhow long story short.. I was on Toys R Us Canada..their online store and discovered that they have some sets from 2009 still instock and for sale! They have the Snow Trooper battle pack 8084 and the Battle of Endor set 8038 still in stock for sale! I ordered 2 of the troopers.. and I am debating about the Endor set. Just so no one is confused the 8038 Battle of Endor Set is the bigger set that comes with the bunker, AT-ST and I think about 10 minifigures. as well as a Speeder and Ewok glider... not the set that came out late/early this year with the 4 minifigures.

Not sure if anyone is interested in these sets.. but thought I would pass on the find!

TRU at Lansdowne Centre, Richmond has a crap load of Endors available. Plus, they have BOGO 50% off all Star Wars items. I saw a sign in the LEGO isle for an ad correction claiming LEGO is not excluded from the sale. No guarantees though because I THINK I read the correction notice incorrectly. Sale ends tomorrow.

I checked out TRU in Langley - the bogo is limited to star war figure and sets - unfortunately star wars Lego is excluded
However, Cars theme Lego is 25%. Not for me but some may want to buy it.
