Little show/event for my church

Post by Graham »

Hey guys, i was letting you know that sometime this summer i was going to put on a little saturday show/build activity for my church in abby. I was going to hopefully have my spacestation scene, then possibly what train/city layout i have at the time, plus maybe a few tubs of random bricks for the kids to build things. I think that same day they might do a kids clothing swap meet, etc so it is a bigger event.

The reason i am bringing this up is if anyone has things they want to show off to make the display bigger, then that'd be cool to showcase. I don't have alot in the way of buildings and cars, though i have a good amount of road plates.

I don't have the month/day at the moment as it is in the idea stage. I have been feverishly working on the spacestation to get it ready/bigger before we move at the end of april.

Any comments/ideas?

Hi Graham,
You are welcome to use any intact buildings I have at that time. Which Church is it for?

The church we go to is CLCC in Abbotsford. They are just about done their new building, so we'll have lots of room for the show thing then. At the moment we're renting a high school gym.

Thanx for the offer. Once i have an idea of when it is and how much i/we can do, then i'll know how much to fill in. I don't want to go too big as it'll be for the day, but hopefully for the display i can setup the few days before and it'll be under lock to keep it safe.
