Lego sorter box4blox

Post by Captain Pike »

Here's a link to something interesting I found while websurfing - a lego sorting/storage box. It won't store my larger collection but it might help sort them. And it would be a good fit for my son's sub-set of our family lego.

Has anyone tried this product?

8) 8) This product looks like it could be replicated with Lego bricks and tiles. thus also providing storage in the form of the end product. Then it could also be customized to sort to the builder's preference. Anyone wanna build a prototype and bring it to a future meeting? 8) 8)

I ordered one 2 weeks ago. It's on it way now. I can bring it to the next meeting. Then again why build one if the majority of your collection might go into it :P

I had one for awhile. Doesn't really work. Well, it sorta works, but it's just too tedious, takes too long (only a few bricks at a time), and also tends to beat up your bricks quite a bit (needs shaking, "sifting"). Not worth getting, IMO.
