I have just recently got a job (LOL) .. anyhow finally got some extra money to start what I've always wanted.. a lego collection
My priority is to get the castle type of theme (currently knights kingdom and vikings) .. and star wars..
But i've checked some of the retail stores lately and found that the older series of star wars products are already retired..
Is it still possible to somewhat "complete" the star wars series now?
Too late to start?

It is possible to complete any series, however the price could be rediculous. The Key in my opinion is sales in building a collection. Hang out at shop.lego.com for their sales, wait for the retailers like walmart, superstore and toysrus to have clearout prices.nsklam wrote:I have just recently got a job (LOL) .. anyhow finally got some extra money to start what I've always wanted.. a lego collection

If you know what set # you want, go to peeron.com and type in that number...sometimes peeron will give you options on where to buy that set and for how much.
Hope that helps,
Graham
It's never too late to start a LEGO collection, or to complete a series. Depending on the theme though, it can take a long time and/or money!
Star Wars is do-able since it's relatively new, but a LOT of sets have been released in this theme, plus some of the larger, out of production sets are very expensive to acquire. Also, since there are so many SW+LEGO fans, you'd be competing with them too...
