Re: Wanted: Vancouver Grand Opening Help

Welcome to the Forum, and to BC! I'm sure you do fine with one LEGO store since the weather here is so much better than Toronto that you likely won't need as much LEGO to pass the cold winter and muggy summer! I don't think I will be able to make it friday, but perhaps Saturday. Look forward ...

Re: Lord of the Rings + LEGO!!!!

I think the face on that Golum is hand painted. The photo quality is so good that various imperfections are obvious. maybe it was also printed badly?... Figure looks great in either case and I love the new non-robotic arm piece!

Re: Forums Updated

Thanks for changing the logo, at long last!

Hopefully you will be able to import the old graphics, cause I would miss the little LEGO bricks, and the old theme (with it's "View Active Topics" button).

Re: London Drugs

I checked Hastings and Nanaimo, Hastings and Carroll and Georgia and Granville. Almost no LEGO anywhere and nothing on sale.

Hamslice, if you happen to see those sets again, I would happily take 2 Mills and a Bounty Hunter Assault

I would take two bounty hunters and two pirates mills if you are going by LD. No worries if not. I would take 6 mills at the Walmart price if you do see them.

Free gas to Seattle March 20th

Anyone heading to Seattle soon?

Alex (my darling) and I are flying out of SeaTac on March 20th at 10pm. The Bus is $50 Each, so if someone happens to be making a trip that way, we would much rather put $50 in gas tank to get to SeaTac via the LEGO store. PM or email.

Re: Alcatraz Build

As Andrew said, we often buid different levels with ply and MDF. I don't consider this cheating since everyone builds on some kind of surface. Making the surface uneven is still just a building surface. Now, if you were to use a wooden mask up the middle of a building to make it stronger, I think a ...

Re: Project Pikachu - Parts needed

I can pull them all except the 1x2 yellow inverted slope, which I only have 20 of the sorted drawer. I could likely bring a bin of misc yellow to find the rest.

I will try to find time to look through pieces on the weekend, but I don't know that I will find the time. shake

Re: New to the forum?

Slughead sounds good to me. Other Dave is Brickhead, so maybe I could follow suite and be Platyhead... no. It is Slogghead, or my friends call me Dee Dubb (my initials...DW) as we have 3 Dave's in our group as well. Oops! I totally didn't mean to misspell your handle. I wasn't trying to turn...
