Re: TBB Interview with Paul
I tried to keep the interview fun and a little bit silly. Hopefully that made it more entertaining than being all serious about Lego.
I vaguely remember talking to someone about pickles at Brickcon. You just never know when people are actually paying attention to what you are saying and recording it for future use.

I think the bathtub is where he cleans his LEGO. So definitely not a double entendre or euphemism. Okay, maybe the pickle is.

Very nice interview Paul! I like how you were able to show-off your wide range in building themes, and were given the opportunity to share some personal interests outside of your Lego addiction.

Look at you - not afraid to admit such a thing.TroopaDee wrote:Huh, I didn't know pickles were from cucumbers...
You can't be the last person to learn that, and to be fair, they're not from the big English cucumbers that people most often buy (to eat un-pickled) in grocery stores.

Re: TBB Interview with Paul
You should also note that cucumbers are not the only thing that can be pickled. ie. onions, beets, peppers, etc.
Congrats Paul. Way to represent the hobby (obsession).

I own a bit of Lego. A little obsessive by some peoples standards.

Indeed! Pickled ginger; pickled cabbage; pickled herring, pickled ______ (anything)!Ptrotter wrote:You should also note that cucumbers are not the only thing that can be pickled. ie. onions, beets, peppers, etc.
but (whether or not they're the original) the food item that gets the name pickles, are indeed cucumbers.

Ooooh! Speaking of pickled cabbage, I love Kimchi (spicy hot pickled Korean Cabbage). I also like pickled herring from time to time! Food and Lego, my favorite things in life!
