Re: SNOOPY AND WOODSTOCK
Damn. That's going to get blogged soon. Will have to try and beat others to it tomorrow.
Fantastic job and likeness. As much as I love Calvin and Hobbes I think this MOC is better.

Re: SNOOPY AND WOODSTOCK
Thanks Pierre, I agree this one is definitely better.chump wrote:As much as I love Calvin and Hobbes I think this MOC is better.
If I was to do a Calvin & Hobbes MOC now (a year later), their is much that I would approach differently. I've learned some new building techniques, and their are also some new parts available now that I would make good use of!
ps. My new most favorite Lego part:

Re: SNOOPY AND WOODSTOCK
For some reason I thought that was the two wide, but it's the one wide correct?Bricksky wrote:ps. My new most favorite Lego part:
It's been posted to the VLC front page. Someone has done another Calvin and Hobbes, as well well as Elsa's castle.

Re: SNOOPY AND WOODSTOCK
Its available as both 1 and 2 wide...chump wrote:...I thought that was the two wide, but it's the one wide correct?
I saw the new Calvin and Hobbes (by Simon). They are definitely cuter and more true to the actual cartoon strip for sure. I like how he did Calvin's face, but I'll take my Hobbes over his any day...

Re: SNOOPY AND WOODSTOCK
I love that new part too, I used a few on my new MOC and had to run out and get 31013 just to get two red ones. Looks awesome Tyler!

Re: SNOOPY AND WOODSTOCK
Great job on the poseability. So the joints are turntables and bars and clips? A little hard to see them, but that is the point, I guess.
Took me a bit to figure out the nose was a helmet. I thought it was a ball joint.
