Science Fiction Inspired Spaceship

Post by Bricksky »

I had an idea to build a spaceship inspired by science fiction art.

I was planning to build it as another "Small Star-fighter", but soon realized it would be too big for that contest...
Then I decided to focus on something that I could use for the "Friends In Space" contest, and although the color scheme and mini-doll are good, their are too few Lego friends elements used to make it a good entry.

In the end I decided to heck with it, I'm just gonna build the ship I envisioned in my mind, and gave up on trying to make it fit into some other predefined criteria.

I'm glad I did, because I love how it turned out!

I now present to you my latest Sci-Fi Inspired Space Ship: The "Titan"

That's a lot of white antennas. Nice accent colours with the dark pink fuel pod/thruster/whatever the heck it is. I have that windshield in red, if you're interesting to try it, but I think it'll be too many a similar shade.
