A pair of MOC's

Post by Delbaerov »

Arena 1.jpg
Lego arena. Currently under construction.

Just looking to get some thoughts/ideas/comments/criticisms on this as I continue to build it up.

Tattoo I got last weekend. Thoughts? Also does anyone else have Lego related body art?

Nice hockey arena. It looks well proportioned. If you need help finishing it you can always ask the government for a 500 million stadium upgrade

Great job and welcome to the boards. I'm curious what the LC HC stands for?

Nice ice rink. Not a big fan of body art myself so I would say no to having Lego body art. To each their own.

LC HC stands for Lego City Hockey Club (creative I know)

The eventual goal is to have a full seating bowl and enclosed stadium. Short term goal is to get a 3/4 bowl which will seat about 700 people, as well as finish off the concourse and dressing rooms. I will have to come to a meeting one day and get your tips on how to make it look even better.

Have you built a hockey team or two? The collectible minifig series had a hockey player recently

I've made a team out of the collectable minifig, although I'd like 2 more to get a team. Other than that I may have to try and piece together a team from the old NHL sets, although that won't be a cheap endeavor.

Guess it depends on how much a purist you are :)

You could have the 2nd team be pretty much anything- trolls, eskimos, spartans, etc. and just put skates on them and give em a hockey stick? Ha maybe that'd only fly in my fantasy world

Sorry to bump such an old thread but is there any progress on the stadium? I would love to see some updated photographs.
