I took down the mountain/cave I built before, sorted the pieces, and built a new one :) This one is more structurally sound and I used only bricks, plates and lurps/burps. I will add slopes later, not a requirement right now.

I moved Castle Kensington (apartment) deeper into the city portion of my set-up so it looks more bunched up, and ended up moving around other buildings, and also adding windmill & barn from the Mill Raid set etc

I liked how it looked so I took an update pic :)
Image

also you can sorta see a "mock up" of the waterfall thats gonna originate from the ice cap on top, and feed the lake by the city

there will be a giant tree in the giant gap/hole in middle of the green , and then a forest around it

Cheers!!

That's great! Now can you just turn it into a lunar landscape, add a few spaceships, turn the livestock into aliens and hermetically seal all the buildings and them we can take it to BrickCon?

Havent worked on the castle apartment in a while, however yesterday I did buy a Knight Bus and 3x dark forest really cheap.. and since I like to build my sets as soon I can- they've been built! :D

I built the Knight Bus as per instructions. It was alot fun and lots great purple parts. Already thinking of a purple building moc. Either a wizarding school or shop eh? I like the driver fig. And the swinging chandelier is awesome.

I just MOC'ed the large tree using parts from 3x Dark Forest sets

Was a fun exercise in moc'ing a tree.. i already have thoughts on how to improve next time.

-=UPDATE=-

1) Lego Mess is now organized into 6 plastic dressers, 18 total drawers. Very very useful that they're transparent too!

2) Fantasy Kingdom WIP baseplate #3 is pretty much not being worked on these days.. sidetracked by other side projects- Army Building and also the Ninjago set-up below..
Got 20x blue curvy slopes from Platypus!! I put them on my mountain, now it has an INSTANT WATERFALL!! :D :D :D
I will improve it later :p Needs a river etccc
Four 48x48 Baseplates for this set-up

3) I got the Ninjago sets; Fire Temple & Earth Dragon, a classic Witch Manor off craigslist, and a mish-mash "tree" hideout with a vault etc.. my son's added alot of his cool touches as well (alot gems, flames, etc)
Two 48x48 Baseplates for this set-up.

UPDATE..

The Army Display was alot fun to work on and has inspired me to begin work on a bigger scale castle, on my Fantasy Kingdom Display.

Medevial Apartment has been DISASSEMBLED, parts sorted, and everything put away. It was an awesome project but it was taking up too much space and had a ton bricks I needed :)

I also purchased four more large ziplocs of gray bricks from Dan on Craigslist, also 1 black bag.. I've got that sorted away about 80% I took a sick day yesterday Monday just to organize all the above. I had planned to work on a large castle wall but quickly realised I needed to organize bricks first :P So that's been done.

Two 48x48 baseplates are being prepped for a new castle wall, it will replace baseplate #1 & #2 (The village portion) of my Fantasy Kingdom. Planning a large castle wall & towers in the background and protecting the village from any threats/raiders from the mountains.

Also purchased from Dan, approx 10 triangular rock formations, 7 block-rock formations, so I will be able to fill out baseplate #3 with more mountains :D :D :D

Cheers All!

Great work on the Fantasy Kingdom Radstar!
It's no longer a fantasy, you have bought it life... nice use of colors on all the buildings, nice texture on the castle walls, and cool mountain, water fall and river. As a kid I really enjoyed the castle theme Lego and I still enjoy seeing new Castle mocs as a Big kid. Well done, bricklee.
