SBrick Black Friday Sale

Post by TheRebricker »

SBrick is having a black Friday sale. If you don't know what it is, check them out: https://social.sbrick.com/store

Right now they are offering 10% off and the way shipping works, it's 5gbp for shipping on each item. So if you order 1 SBrick you pay 5GBP on shipping, but if you order a 4 pack, you only pay 5GBP on shipping and get the discount for buying 4 and the 10% off as well. You also get the black case for the SBrick as well as Grey, so great for hiding it in MOCs.

I wanted to get 1, but if others want to group buy I could buy 4 and pass the savings onto 3 people who each want one, or someone who wants the other 3.

I'm sure this is a limited time offer. Reply quickly if you are interested or else I will only be buying 1.

Wow, those look cool!
Why only one? Sure you only need one to drive a car, but it looks like he easily used 4 to control two trains and two track switches. ;-)

Is that just 5GBP to ship all the way to Canada?

Yup. I didn't want to go overboard. I don't have loads of PF I'm working with and each brick has 4 outputs instead of Lego's 2.

We should split 4.
It seems really easy to make use of more than one
(but it would probably also be easy to find other club members to sell one to)

I agree, but super handy for a nice MOC and no more AAA batteries for remotes, no limitations on line of sight, light... etc.

Imagine next year's Train Expo setup, with one at each switch and one on each train!
Complete control from a single tablet device. wow

Who's got the winning lotto ticket?

*edit* - I guess they aren't as practical on 9V trains (considering the power's in the track) :?

Why not draw power from 9V track to power the SBricks. Do a complete SmartTrain layout.... But yes... money is a factor!

You are saving about $10-$15. So if you plan to want one, now's the time :)

And the bonus (alternate black shell/case) normally costs a pretty penny extra too. (More value received)
