UCS Millennium Falcon 10179

Post by soundwave »

I am considering selling my UCS Millennium Falcon 10179. all 5,195 pieces of it.
It is still new in box. I would sell it for less than the $1200 average that it is currently selling for on ebay.

OMG, it's worth that much now? I had considered buying one how ever many years ago but thought it was way too expensive at the time. I wish I had bought it now though.

I flipped mine for $1100 in February. Not bad for a $191 investment when Lego had the pricing problems. :) Although I regret selling my first one for $500 cause I needed the $$$ for the credit card bill.

Seriously, if I had two of them, there is no way I could resist building one of them. That would just be one fun build. 8)

I hate building sets unless its like a car or a building for filling a city. I buy for bricks.

Even if you buy for bricks- the point would be to take the bricks out of ONE of two boxes and play/create :)

I agree with Tukac, if you have two- build/play with one for gods sakes!

Personally I have never not opened/built a set.

You'd still get a good price on one of these, even if opened!

See, that is why I dare not sort if for parts. It's just a bunch of ugly Bley, and I could get $1000 for it! Then buy good non-bley LEGO with it.

That would require actually selling it though :)

As it stands now you have 2 sets, 1 unopened, 1 opened and not touched. ;)

incidientally- during my "dark age" days, a friend from my Warhammer days- he built a Millennium Falcon and posted his progress on facebook, it was fun to follow and the model turned out to be alot bigger than I expected- and really really impressive.

I loved how the minifigs fit in the cockpit, just like in the movies :)

Hope someone rescues a set just so it gets played with! ;) if I had the space to display a Millennium Falcon in my apartment id consider it- but I dont

I swear, my little one would prolly leave a load in his shorts if I ever brought home one of those. It would be impossible to keep it from being played with. :p

My g/f wants me to some day get the 500$ Death Star set just so we can spend a day building it together. XD

I am a pretty lucky man, yes. She is pretty cool.

And d/c the deathstar?? that would be bad... I have so many things I want to buy, I don't know if I can save up for one since I am planning on buying a house pretty soon. :(

We could just build our house out of the LEGO in the storage locker!
