A comment that stuck with me from a week or so ago went something like: If you don't like playing the maze game, why would you buy a LEGO version of it.

And the counterargument would be, "..... because it's LEGO!"

I wonder if those are those GBC compatible balls? or Zamor balls?

If GBC, could we put them on Lugbulk 2017?

89.99$ WTF

This is the third release in a row for Ideas at an Overly priced set with not much justification on the price point.
Look at Big bang and Dr, who. Sales are crap for them and have gone on sale several times in hopes that stores can clear them.
If this continues I can see Ideas Going bye bye.

Which is a shame cause the concept is great and helps builders get credit and recognition. But lego seems to be killing there own product by crappy section of what gets produced and price it sells.

I like supporting my fellow builders but can't justify the heavy Price point that comes with sets, that are mainly basic brick and will sit on display for the soul fact they are an ideas model.

I agree that $90 is pretty overpriced, but until you dig in, you miss that there's a separate castle theme layout included here.

I wrote a piece on my site about it yesterday and pointed out that this set could be a lot of fun. People can generate other themed layouts and share them or even sell them to others. http://brickbrains.com/2016/03/rolling- ... deas-maze/

And in the end, it is slated for April 1....

I've managed to get 3 Ideas sets on sale; Exo-Suit, Birds, and The Big Bang Theory. So it pays to wait.

Same here.

Not always. I wish I had the BTTF Delorian set, but missed out on that one. It now goes for a pretty penny.

Also if there's a special offer where you get a free mini set or minifigure for buying a certain amount of Lego.

I never liked the Delorian, but I know it went on sale.

Given the look of the Castle Maze, it looks like almost all of the LEGO Games we've got at thrift stores over the years, could easily be adapted to a themed layout maze.

Yup, they are. They were available this year but didn't garner enough interest, I don't know if next year would be different... But we can try, and wish...
