Other than the pneumatic t-joint, does any one see what other joints are being used for articulation?

I don't know what a pneumatic t-joint is...

I see a lot of these on the legs: Part 32174 Technic, Axle Connector 2 x 3 with Ball Socket, Open Sides

The Elbows and Shoulders appear different and technic related...

I think chump is referring to this piece, known as a "pneumatic T piece" (used to join pneumatic hoses together):

Thanks for the explanation, that makes sense. The original CUUSO/Ideas submission probably used them, but I'm sure these do not match up with official Lego Set Standards so were replaced with more robust parts to improve stability and playability.

So... has anybody been able to purchase one of these? The demand for this set has been unreal!

I had relatives in the states last weekend and they couldn't find any from the stores in WA and OR. Oakridge is sold out, and they don't know when or IF they will be getting another shipment.

I delayed and they are OOS online. Guess I will just have to keep trying!

I am not sure of this but I had read somewhere that there was only going to be one production run.

That has been written quite a few times which leads to even more speculators driving the demand and pricing up on the secondary market for this set. I'd suggest if you want it, buy it if you see it. Don't wait.
