Awesome! Thanks for the pictures!
I was almost going to go to this to be there for the unveiling of the new Minecraft sets, but I was not able to get a hotel room, and the flights were pricey for last minute.

I'm jealous!

Very cool pictures! Though it seems the biggest news out of SDCC Lego wise was how the Minifigure giveaways were handled and now there are accusations of the draft being rigged so mostly kids would win.

I can confirm some of the observations that people posted.

No, unfortunately I was not asked to help with these new sets. On the plus side, I think they turned out really nice even without my superior assistance.

I don't see why they shoot themselves in the foot by calling these minifigs exclusives. They should be made exclusive by printing San Diego Comicon 2013 on the back of the figs. That way, it still gives them the option of releasing these in a set in the future. The completists who need every variant can go for all, while those who just want the figs can buy the set.

I'm sort of happy that I said no to the Marvel and DC minifigs. Gotta pick and choose your battles. But I still want big Hulk.
