X-mas suggestions

Post by JamesH »

So, my son ( just turning 8 ) thinks he wants the Mindstorms set for Christmas. I think he would enjoy it (and who's kidding who, so would I :) ), but it's definite pricy. Is the best place to get it a US lego store?

The other thing we might be able to substitute would be a lego remote controlled car. As far as I can tell the only one currently available is 9398 4x4 Crawler. Not that much cheaper.

Does anyone have any other suggestions, thoughts or ideas?

Thanks,
- James

Costco.ca has it for $199 which is $50 Canadian MSRP.
Amazon.COM has it on discount for $260 (reg. $280).
Walmart.COM also has it for $260.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Brandon... I wonder if they'll price match your typo :)

Nothing new, but crazy how Walmart CA has it for $350 but WalMart US has it for $250...
