TMNT

Post by AC »

New TMNT sets (well if they can still be called that) have had the first pictures released at the New York Comic Con. http://www.flickr.com/photos/fbtbnet/8073250071/ You can see the article on Brothers Brick and FBTB http://www.fbtb.net/2012/10/11/nycc-leg ... eet-chase/ as well.

So i can throw my M@gablocks ones out?

Image

At least I can hopefully get a Master Splinter now.

http://www.fbtb.net/2012/10/11/nycc-leg ... -minifigs/

Seriously? Hopefully a prototype.

In any case, the $16.99 I paid at Winners for the dojo with all four Turtles, plus Shredder and two foot soldiers can't be beat.

Wow. I mean this is awesome.

Except for, you know, the fact that it is really ugly.
The minifigs are really great though! And I can't hate all the olive green parts. Where is the April O'Neil minifig?

Is this like a nickelodeon thing to make hideous LEGO sets? I think we all remember the avatar sets:

Casey Jones.

Yes, I bought the TMNT figs after seeing a Bluntmation film. I also have one Halo Spartan minifig as well.

I brought it to a meeting once to show the articulation but one VLC member was so disgusted that he wouldn't even touch it. Be warned that I'll be bringing the Nintendo Mario Kart figs to the next meeting, just in case someone needs to bring a barf bag.
