Well, I shown Alex and she smiled and laughed and said "that's funny". I feel a little more secure in my relationship, knowing that even the geekiest side of me can surface and not be rejected.

I guess the Sorcerer's Apprentice was kind of tame by comparison.

The whirlpool is very neat, I find myself wishing the white rods on the bottom would spin too, however im not sure if it'd be visually accurate.

And if Alex is cool with how much lego you have in your home- she's probably gonna be cool with a bit goofing off ;) Hurray for geek-friendly girls!n rotflol

What part wouldn't be visually accurate?

Cool is that 2nd video the one David did? I like the whole set up and how the spinning part blends better with the base

As for visually accurcate in the 1st video.. I think the white rods on the bottom of the blue base, those should spin- but at a slower rate than the spiraling white rods on the "tower" portion.. so that way it would more accurately represent a whirlpool's spinning force?

right now in the 1st video, the bottom doesn't spin at all and its throwing me off a bit.
