Thanks for the link. I know almost nothing about Minecraft but I enjoyed the video. I liked how for a brief second it says "L E G O S" then they quickly erase the 'S'.

Re: New 2012 modular builind Town Hall 10224 pics released

My initial reaction is similar, like the building not crazy about the color. IMO the modular buildings rank (roughly): Green Grocer Cafe Corner Pet Shop Fire Brigade Grand Emporium (Market Street, if you want to include it) [How would everyone else rank them?] One of the strikes against the Grand Em...

Not sure about Kaboodles, but Toybox is on this week as well (Same time as the Splash one), but Toybox prices their stuff over MSRP so the deals aren't as good.

Splash Toy shop fall 25% off sale

Splash Toys (in Dunbar and Richmond) is having their 25% fall sale this week (start today, the 29th). 25% off everything in the store. Their lego is priced at MSRP so it's 25% off the price you'd see at lego.com.

I imagine stock is limited.

You will definately want to modify the rules. It's very simplistic, but great for kids. My 6 year old loves it.

Re: [WIP] Sand green house

Thanks for the nice comments! (Criticisms and suggestions are welcome too) And a huge thanks to the VLC in general. About 20% of the parts used are from my collection (eg. My Green Grocer is now a blue grocer) the rest of them are from either bulk orders or the reward draft. My goal was to make a re...

[WIP] Sand green house

Here is a work-in-progress I thought I'd post a few pictures of to get some feedback and suggestions. The outside is mostly done, although I realized after the pictures I forgot to put the rear bargeboards back on. I'm still not sure if I like them or not and was experimenting with them on/off. The ...

But, if there is a decision to do a group order please put me down for 6 of each (ie. 6xpair of green plate and 6x1 gray brick = 18 parts). If they're still available I'd like to change my request to: 6 of the green plate sets and 26 of the grey bricks. Thanks for organizing this Shane, if there's ...

It's interesting to hear other peoples takes on the lego games. We only have Lava Dragon, Monsters 4 and Creationary (I think Minitorus might be coming for Christmas) but all 3 of them are a big hit. Splash Toy shop spring 25% off sale

Splash Toy shop in Vancouver (Dunbar) is having their annual spring sale where the whole store is 25% off. This, of course, includes Lego. Unlike most toy shops Splash sells all their sets at the MSRP (the price suggested by lego, and listed on lego shop at home and in catalogs), there's no mark up....
