The battery box is my biggest concern with the new power functions. I think you are correct Andrew "too big". It will make it very difficult to build 6 wide trains. If you go 8 wide, how long will the bat. last?

" a major commitment of bricks" An understatement when you are talking a club layout. There are some real advantages to doing it this way. You could have a construction crew digging up a section of road and actually have a hole. Trolley tracks look really good in this kind of road as well. Just tooo...

The Building Crane 7905 is at the Langley Zellers for $44.99. This did not look to be a sale. It was a regular price tag. Maybe an error. :)

I have this stuff called Buffalo Snow Flurries. My Wife picked it up for my Christmas lawout and I didn't use it. I will bring it to the next meeting. Has the potential for being messy but would look good in combo with bricks. :)
