I'd be in for 6045 and 6044 Ninja and Castle if the buyer doesn't take the whole lot.

Article on LEGO used for insect research
Sort of odd, but makes perfect sense. There are closet AFOLs out there everywhere.

Re: Feedback requested on soft hair elements
PIerre, I assume this was a forward request from LEGO for feedabck, not your personal interest? I really like that the rubber allowed for some thin hair strands (like on the current Goth Girl -CMF S12) that aren't easily breakable. I love the diversity, but I think I prefer the look and colour of th...

Microfigs (from board games) Wanted
Anyone have anby microfigs they want to get rid of? I am not willing to pay/trade much for them. I just want them cause I am building Minecraft scenes with the kids at school and these 1x1 figs fit nicely into the scenes. I don't check the forums often so call or text me if you have any. 604-710-5346

Re: Greenpeace launches LEGO Campaign
many people pointed out months ago that Green Peace would never succeed with their crazy gorilla tactics, and yet they did. Not only yesterday, but already three months ago when they took a little-known issue and launched it into the spotlight. All of us were suddenly talking about Green Peace and a...

Did anyone ever pick up horses for Dean? I think he would be be thrilled to have some, or to know they are back, especially when you can pour blue gems around them.

weird that they launched in Brazil, South Africa and India first. Maybe those are three of LEGO's weakest markets that they want to develop… Regardless of LEGO position on this, I think it's great to Greenpeace is using LEGO to bring the issue of arctic drilling to the dinner table. The fact that WB...

Re: Greenpeace launches LEGO Campaign
Since you mention Formula one racing… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRBVGKFgAUU but I don't think that not associating with one company means not associating with any company it associates with. That seems like a stretch. Unless it was part of the deal that the race sets have Shell logos in them. ...

Greenpeace launches LEGO Campaign
Got this fro Greg at the Museum. :-) ----------------------------------------------------------- Shell is already invading the Arctic to drill for oil. Now it’s trying to pollute our children’s minds by putting its logo on millions of Lego toys. Miniature LEGO people are holding small but furious pr...

Never mind that site. I googled it and found several reviews about it being a fraud and complaints about people buying products and never getting it. Seems like a big gamble.

Happy anniversary Allan! You have made me wonder what my first meeting date was. Unfortunately, I didn't have anything like google calendar at the time so no way of looking back.
Thanks Allan, for joining in, and for driving a lot of the expansion of the membership!

Keith mentioned that Green Snake figure key chains are on sale for $1 at the Surrey LEGO Store. He did by mention other colours. If someone goes by, I would love to get 20 of each colour available for that price.

Remix your own LEGO ad
This short write up about the gender bias in LEGO advertising leads (at the bottom of the page) to a very funny little app to "remix" the LEGO ads.

Wow a reprint on classic space logos! Cool. I love the dartboards on the wings of the Creative Ambush. Nice part! Also had the same thought about Time Twister sets. Also seems a little odd that they would release the sets so long before the movie comes out. And given the number of sets and the wide ...

I'd love two Warp Stingers and a Crater Creeper if someone sees them again at the that price. The Stinger has a great price/piece ratio at that price. Maybe a good draft?
