Nice use of various parts. Love the curves on the upper leg sections and the 3x3x6 engine sitting sideways under the but.

That ball looks wider than than the 1x2 plate sitting in front of it. A soccer ball is too, but I think this is even bigger.

Re: Lego Oakridge Pick A Brick wall updates
I was there yesterday and Troy said the pink 1x4 went in the first three days they were on the wall. Gold lattice and 1x2x2 2/3 borwn arches castle window frame are still there. I got 150 of each. They also have dark blue trans 1x1 rounds, 1x2 45• slopes in Tan and 4x8 balck plate, which is ...

I'll be there (and I'd better as the host), but I will miss the PNE as I have to work at 10pm, sadly not at the PNE.

my incredibly crappy website might give you some idea. I am really not happy with the amount of into on my site, but I have no time to build it so... :( www.brickworkshop.com Feel free to pick my brain at the next meeting, but I'll refrain from writing a thesis on doing parties here on the forum.

Hi technicbuff! Welcome to the forum! There isn't a lot of traffic on the public portion of these forums as much of what is discussion is member meetings, group ordering and event planning. On the public side, you will see some traffic in the Sale watch forum and in the buy and sell. But you are rig...

Brankell, it was great to meet you last week in Aberdeen!
As Keith pointed out, the whole club certainly won't be there, but a few of us will be. So see you on Saturday!

Would you store/display sets and mocs by sticking them to the walls? That would be pretty cool.

Worlds most expensive wallpaper
A friend sent me this link.

Seems pretty absurd, but some of the non-LEGO designs are nice.

I'm Almost Back in LEGO World
Opening night of RENT went super awesome! Just two more shows, (June 7th and 8th at 7pm at Windsor House -21st and Hamilton North Van, Lucas Centre Gym), and by saturday I will be doing my laundry and catching up on Life so that on Sunday I can rejoin the LEGO World! Looking forward to getting my ha...

Various sets for sale, MISB
I have dug a bunch of sealed sets out of my past and I am going to try and sell them to pay for my insane CMF habit. I am basing my asking prices on what I see on BL and what they are worth to me, roughly. Prices here are rounded down a ways from BL prices as a local sale discount. I also may have m...

MIchael, you can come over and dig out all the Tan you need and write a list or something. I'm pretty sure I have tail ends as well. I'm into a really long week but will be home tonight and maybe for hours 5-7p the next few afternoons

Re: Wanted: Vancouver Grand Opening Help
I emailed shortly after Allan posted the address and I have not heard back. I did get a broadcast email to "all volunteers" saying that anyone who was not confirmed for a specific shift(s) should email in again for confirmation, so I emailed again. I just got a response confirming me for Sunday at 3...

Looks great. I like the integration of the two sites. Not sure if I like the stud background in the forums, but that is just a silly detail. for some reason it reminds me of Zelda on SNES and it confuses my brain.

Re: Vancouver LEGO store
That's too bad. When I was there in 2010 for the grand opening, the selection on the wall was brilliant. I filled 10 cups and If I had had a larger backpack and less than 2 weeks left on the road I would have taken 20.

Re: Vancouver LEGO store
Van's PaB wall is smaller than NYC, Bellevue and Portland. The store footprint is also ambler than the other three I have been to. but size doesn't really matter, right? After all, you can get a giant box of Mega blocks for $50... What bugs me is paying $20/cup instead of $15. That hurts cause PaB i...
