Re: New modular bank (10251)
I recommend using your VIP in the States to buy this modular, if you have a enough. I used VIP points to buy the Detective's Office earlier this year at Alderwood Mall, and the points converted straight across to American. And you don't pay taxes on your points purchase. Thanks for the tip - will d...

Re: Instruction manuals im looking for
Before I had kids, I could remember the set numbers for many sets in my favourite themes such as Castles, Pirates, Star Wars, etc.
But now that I am constantly sleep deprived, and with the proliferation of 5 digit set numbers, I can't remember anything...

1x1 light bluish grey tile, round
1x2 dark azure bricks at Oakridge again.
1x4 green tiles (which I recently noticed that I have very few in my collection)

Re: Pics of 2015 Sets
I don't think they look at Alt bricks as a competitor; they most likely view them as they do brickarms and brickforge. They kind of augment or fill in the gaps where Lego dare not or is reluctant to go. Well "competitor" wasn't the best term (hence the quotations)... Perhaps third party is better. ...

Re: Pics of 2015 Sets
I spoke to the guy at BrickCon who makes the parts and runs AltBricks.com. He told me Lego is coming out with these new leaf colors directly because of his stuff... They thought it was such a good idea they had to do it themselves. ;) That's a first - LEGO copying something from a "competitor"... :p

I'm guessing though that the backdrop may have been inspired by Frances' works but is all Tyler built. Yup, your deduction is correct... I'm guessing the lack of curved slopes kinda gave it away... -Tyler Oops, I thought the backdrop was Frances' work... Fine, you learned from one of the bes...

Make sure you don't redeem points on your purchase when they are offering 2x VIP points. Obvious to some, but not so obvious to others!
