Re: LEGO Store VIP Event Nov 23rd
I was told that is was the top 100 spenders for each store that get the invites, and that the first 50 (I think) to RSVP get the spots.

Re: LEGO Store VIP Event Nov 23rd
Yup, and they usually give away a little something at the door. Last year they gave everyone a holiday box that they could fill after x-mas from the PaB wall as well. And there were sales. It was fun. I got my invite and will go again.

Re: Parts needed for BRICKCON MOC... Can you Help me out?
Let me know if you didn't get what you need for the con. I likely have lots of tile, but it would take some digging/sorting to find them. I'll be home most of the evening Tuesday figuring out what to bring to the Con so you could drop by to borrow stuff.

Re: Lego Oakridge Pick A Brick wall updates
I was at the store on the 4th to put in my Battle of Troy scene and filled a few cups. Got half a cup of 1x2 Purple tile and there was more. they still had a few red gems hiding behind the counter too. Somehow I forgot to get any of the 2x2 clear slopes (45 degree), which I was excited about when I ...

Re: Paintball- NEW DATES on poll
Got my tickets extended till Dec 31st for a $1 each, which is great cause using them in the next week wasn't going to happen. After Checking with North Van, I now also know that they are only open from Thursday to Sunday. I will change the poll to reflect new Date possibilities, which will hopefully...

Paintball- NEW DATES on poll
Hey everyone, A long long time ago, in a galaxy far away... Well, it actually wasn't very far at all, but I was there and some other guys were there, and I jumped a promo paintball pass things and got a whole bunch of Paintball passed fairly cheap, $20 for gear, admission and 100 balls. I had this b...

Re: Brickwars game May 4th
I could play, but I have lots to do before school ends so I'm happy to delay. If we are playing, I could likely host if it makes sense and I know a few tipsters at school who would likely live to play if we need more players.

Re: Lego Article in this Sunday's (March 17th) Province
Ouch! I was surprised by the grammar mistakes, and the excessive use of the word Geek. I also think that the wording around spending $500- 1000 a month makes us look pretty crazy or rich. Saying that some people sometimes do this would have been better. But super cool all the same! Congrats Paul on ...

Lol.
That 420 set is great, and I love that it's one of the few sets that uses a 90° wedged plate connection.

Did you happen to notice if it's the Bright/Shiny Dark red or the flat/drab dark red? Stupic question, I know. I just only have about 8 of the bright ones and tons of drab.

Re: How Many? Winter Wonderland 2012
75,000 pieces is my guess.
150 set up hours, 400 building hours for both new and existing buildings. likely 100 of those hours were put in specifically for this show in the past month.
$6,000 paid value. Replacement cost might be closer to $10,000
200 figs but that could be counted...
all guesses.

Re: Is there a place to buy old lego series minifigs
I have seen anything older than Series 6 at London Drugs in a long time. I regularly check a few location for more favourites and spend more time than I care to admit fondling the packs in the store, but I haven't even seen series 6 for a while. I think LD is ordering way less series 6, 7 and 8 than...

Sorry, getting your hopes up again. I only have 1x1x6 columns with square base. I could trade a few of those if you want a few. To go slightly off-topic, Roger, I am surprised that yo uare offering to trade castle panels for bricks to build a factory. Is this the end of your fantasy layout and...
